This tutorial will guide you through a powerful feature to boost retail sales called ‘Rebates’.
This tool streamlines the rebate process, making it easy and efficient for brands and customers. Follow the steps below to create a rebate experience.
The rebate feature includes,
- Effortless proof of purchase
- Branded rebate signup page
- AI-powered receipt verification
- One-click rebate payments
Instructions:
Create a New Experience
- Firstly, click on the ‘New Experience’ button. A new menu will open. Click on the ‘Rebate’ option and then select ‘Choose Experience’. A new menu will appear.
- Enter the ‘Experience Name’. You can design a custom rebate signup page that looks excellent on both desktops and mobile phones, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
Customize Rebate Signup Page
- There is a field for ‘Rebate Signup Page’ which serves as the front page of the rebate. While it can be skipped, having it is highly recommended. Click on the drop-down and select ‘New Rebate Signup Page’. A new page will appear.
Design Rebate Signup Page
- Write the name of the ‘New Rebate Signup Page’.
- ****Choose a ‘Background Color’ of your choice, and add a ‘Photo’ or ‘Video’. You can also build your content in the ‘Content’ box, adding text, images, videos, buttons, links, etc. You can also change the background of your content.
- Check the box for ‘Explicit SMS Consent’ and write the text in the box.
- If you want to customize the ‘Call to Action’, click on the ‘Customize Button CTA’ and enter the desired text. There are two types of CTAs:
- Button CTA-Mobile: This option allows mobile users to directly access the messaging app with the initial message pre-written and ready to be sent to the campaign number, starting the process without the need to manually enter their phone number.
- Button CTA-Desktop: This option is available to all users. Clicking this button submits their phone number, triggering the initial message to be sent.
Adjust Advanced Settings
- Go to ‘Advanced Settings’ to customize various settings.
- Dim Background’ Checkbox: This option allows users to dim the background, providing better focus on the active elements or foreground content.
- Add or Remove Social Media Icons’ Checkbox: This feature allows users to customize the display of social media icons by adding or removing them as needed, enhancing or simplifying their interface based on preference.
- ‘Send Mobile Users Directly to the Messaging App’ Option: This feature directs mobile users straight to their messaging app with a pre-written message ready to be sent, streamlining the process and eliminating the need for manual phone number entry.
- ‘Customize the Legal Text’ Option: This feature enables users to modify the legal text displayed on the interface, allowing for tailored legal disclosures or disclaimers to meet specific requirements or preferences.
Adjust your settings as per your requirement and click the ‘Save’ button.
Create a Rebate Campaign
- Now that the rebate signup page is complete, proceed to create a ‘Rebate Campaign’. Go to the ‘Experience Name’ dropdown and click on ‘New Rebate Campaign’. A new menu will open.
- Enter the ‘Rebate Campaign’ name. Click the drop-down for ‘Phone Number’ from which users will receive campaign messages. Select the number and set the ‘Campaign Window’ by adjusting it in the calendar. Click ‘Apply’.
- The ‘Redemption Grace Period’ allows users to submit their receipts even after the campaign concludes. Enter the number of days for the grace period.
- In the ‘Rebate Terms’ drop-down, select the ‘Rebate Terms and Conditions’. You have customizable options such as ‘Buy X get Y’, or you can entirely customize it.
- Adjust further fields of your rebate campaign, such as the ‘Quantity Required to Buy’ and ‘Payout Amount’.
- Enter the product name in the ‘Product Required to Buy’ box, or leave it empty if it applies to all eligible products.
- Enter the ‘Maximum Rebate Amount’.
Customize User Messages
- Customize the message a user receives after signing up for the rebate campaign in the ‘Intro Message’ field. Similarly, customize the ‘Receipt Received Message’, ‘Rebate Approved Message’, and ‘Rebate Paid Message’ fields as needed.
Enable Advanced Settings
- In the ‘Advanced Settings’, you have an option for ‘Enable Reminder Message’ to remind users about their progress with the rebate campaign. Users will receive these messages only if they have submitted the initial message.
- You also have an option for ‘Rebate Auto-Approval’ and other settings.
- Click the ‘Save’ button to save all these changes.
