Introduction:

This tutorial explains how to add and configure the Sweepstakes Module in Brij. Sweepstakes are chance-based promotions designed to increase engagement and reward users. By following these steps, you can create, customize, and publish sweepstakes directly within your experience.

Instructions:

Add the Sweepstakes Module

• Navigate to your Brij dashboard, go to the Experiences tab, and open the experience where you want to add the sweepstakes.
• Click on the Modules tab. From the module gallery, drag and drop the Sweepstakes Module into the designated area. This will open the sweepstakes setup screen.

Enter the Sweepstakes Details

• In the Name field, enter an internal name for your campaign. This name is used for identification within the dashboard, especially helpful if you manage multiple sweepstakes.

• Enter the Call to Action text. This is the button label users will see in the experience.

  You can use short, engaging, and action-oriented language such as “Enter,” “Join Now,” or “Claim Your Chance.”

• In the Sweepstakes Window, select the start and end dates for when users can enter the sweepstakes.

• Use the Content field to describe the sweepstakes. Clearly put in the description:

  • What the sweepstakes is
  • What users can win
  • How to enter it.

  This content will be visible to users in the experience.

• In the Sweepstakes Rules section, enter the official rules and eligibility criteria.

  These rules appear in the following places:

  • In the hamburger menu under Sweepstakes Rules
  • Within the Terms & Conditions during user registration

Review this section carefully to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Customize Advanced Settings

Open Advanced Settings to refine the user experience:

• Show Sweepstakes Entry Status: Displays entry status (Active, Approved, etc.) and entry details. Disable this to hide the status table.
• Customize Sweepstakes State Messages: Edit messages for states such as Entry Active, Pending Review, Denied, or Expired (up to 250 characters each).
• Post-Registration CTA: Customize the button users see immediately after submitting their entry.
• Button Colors: Adjust the primary sweepstakes button color to match your brand.

Save the Sweepstakes Module

• Click Save.
• 🎉 Congratulations, you have successfully added and configured a Sweepstakes Module.
