Overview
The Mulberry integration enables you to add and manage extended warranties for your products. This guide walks you through every step: from authentication credentials to activation.
1. Prerequisites
Before beginning setup up, make sure you have:
- Access to the Brij dashboard with automation permissions.
- A Mulberry Partner Account with API access
- Knowledge of whether your brand is connected to Shopify or another platform.
Requirements per Brij Experience for Mulberry Warranty Extension to be compliant:
- Experience Title must include the name of the product. SKU can be provided in parenthesis.
- Experience Image must be present
- Price of product must be included in Experience details if you are using the price overwrite in integration configuration, instructions below. Otherwise the price shown in Shopify will always be used.
- Add a Warranty Module - enter details of warranty
- Enable “Offer Warranty Extensions by Mulberry” by selecting the check box within the Warranty Module
- Add a Form to Experience that collects:
- Full Name
- Full Address (Country, State, and Zip Code are mandatory)
Without this form, warranty registration and fulfillment will fail.
2. Obtaining Mulberry Credentials
- Log into the Mulberry Partner Portal.
- Navigate to Settings → API / Developer Tools.
- Find your Retailer UUID.
- Generate or locate your Public Token and Private Token.
- Copy the Partner Base API URL (e.g., https://api.getmulberry.com).
- If you cannot locate these details, contact Mulberry Support.
3. Setting Up the Integration
1. Go to Automations → Add Automation in Brij.
2. Select Integration Type = Mulberry.
3. Enter your Retailer UUID, Public Token, Private Token, and Partner Base API URL.
4. Choose the relevant experience(s) this applies to.
5. Save and activate the automation.
When setting up warranties, Mulberry needs to know the correct product price to use. There are two ways Mulberry can get this price:
Option 1 – Use Price Entered in Brij (Override Enabled):
You manually enter the product price directly inside the Brij dashboard during setup.
Example: If your product is $50 and you type “50” in Brij, Mulberry will always use that $50 — even if the price in Shopify later changes.
Option 2 – Use Price from Shopify (Override Disabled):
Mulberry automatically pulls the product price directly from Shopify in real-time.
Example: If your Shopify store shows the product as $50 today but you update it to $60 tomorrow, Mulberry will also see the new $60 price.
5. Activating & Testing
- Review all details carefully.
- Save and activate the integration.
Ensure the Warranty Extension checkbox is enabled and text fields filled out in the Warranty Module being used
- Test the experience!
- Confirm the checkout page from Mulberry looks correct and coordinate with Mulberry on how to test warranty purchases.
6. Troubleshooting Basics
- If authentication fails:
- Double-check tokens and URL formatting.
- Ensure tokens are active in Mulberry.
- If warranty registration doesn’t work:
- Confirm the correct experience and triggers are selected.
- If issues persist, contact Brij Support or Mulberry Support.
