Overview
If you’re wiring up Brij's Meta (Facebook) integration, there are two keys you’ll need:
- The Dataset ID (formerly shown as “Pixel ID”),
- The Conversions API access token (aka CAPI token).
|
Part 1 - Find your Dataset (Pixel) ID
Where to click:
- Go to Meta Events Manager (Business Manager / Business Suite → All tools → Events Manager).
- In the left rail, open Datasets and pick the dataset/pixel for your site.
- Open the Settings tab.
- Look for Dataset ID. If you only see Pixel ID, that value works the same.
Notes & gotchas
- Meta’s new “datasets” experience is rolling out; labels can differ slightly across accounts, but the ID you need is right in Settings.
- If your pixel was auto-migrated, the new Dataset ID equals the old Pixel ID.
Part 2 - Generate a Conversions API (CAPI) Token
You’ll create this inside the same dataset/pixel:
- In Events Manager, select your dataset/pixel and go to Settings.
- Scroll to Conversions API.
- Click “Generate access token” under “Set up direct integration”. “Set up with Dataset Quality API” is recommended.
- Copy the token somewhere safe. You’ll paste it into your Brij automation settings.
That's it!
