What this guide covers
To work with your TikTok ads, Brij needs partner access to your TikTok Business Center — specifically, to the ad account and pixel we'll be helping you manage. This guide walks through granting that access from your end. The whole thing should take about five minutes.
Before you start
- You need to be an admin on a TikTok Business Center that owns (or has access to) the ad account and pixel Brij will be working with. If you don't have a Business Center yet, you can create one for free at business.tiktok.com and claim your existing assets into it.
- Brij's Business Center ID is
7628350678242525202. You'll paste this into TikTok in step 1.
1) Add Brij as a partner
- Sign in to TikTok Business Center and select the Business Center that owns your ad account.
- In the left sidebar, click Users → Partners.
- Click Add partner in the upper right.
- Choose Add partner using Business Center ID and paste Brij's BC ID:
7628350678242525202. - Click Next.
2) Choose what Brij can access
On the asset selection screen, pick the assets we'll be working with and the permission level for each.
-
Ad account — select the ad account(s) Brij will help manage.
- Recommended permission: Operator (lets us build, edit, and review campaigns) or Analyst (read-only) if you'd prefer to keep all execution in-house.
-
Pixel — select the pixel(s) attached to the website hosting your Brij experiences.
- Recommended permission: Manage, so we can verify events are firing and configure conversions.
Click Confirm. TikTok will send the request to Brij's Business Center, and we'll accept it on our side — usually within one business day.
3) (If asked) share the pixel directly
In some account configurations the pixel won't appear under partner asset assignment — for example, if it lives in a different Business Center than the ad account. If Brij asks you to share the pixel directly, do this instead:
- In Business Center, click Assets → Pixel.
- Click into the pixel you want to share.
- Open the Partners tab and click Add partner.
- Enter Brij's Business Center ID —
7628350678242525202— and click Confirm.
How to verify Brij has access
- Back in Users → Partners, you should see Brij listed with a status of Connected. Click the row to see exactly which assets are shared.
- If the status shows Pending for more than a business day, message your Brij rep — most likely we just haven't accepted the request yet.
Removing access later
You stay in control of your assets the whole time. To revoke access, open Users → Partners, click into the Brij row, and either remove individual assets or remove the partner entirely. Your ad account, pixel, and historical data all remain with you.
FAQ
-
Does Brij need to own my ad account?
- No. Partner access means we can work inside your ad account without taking ownership of it. Everything stays under your Business Center.
-
What's the difference between adding Brij as a partner vs. as a member?
- Members are individual people inside your Business Center; partners are an entire other Business Center (ours). Partner access is the right model when you're working with an outside team like Brij.
-
I don't have a Business Center — can I just add Brij to my ad account?
- You'll need a Business Center for partner sharing. Creating one is free and takes a few minutes; once it's set up, you can claim your existing ad account and pixel into it, then follow the steps above.
-
Will sharing the pixel disrupt my running campaigns?
- No — sharing access doesn't change how the pixel fires. (Note: if you ever unshare a pixel that an ad account is actively using, TikTok will pause campaigns relying on it, so coordinate with us before revoking.)
