Overview
To connect Brij with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), you’ll first need to locate your API credentials and enter them in Brij’s integration setup. This enables Brij to send customer profiles and events to your SFMC instance.
The API credentials become available after you finish creating a new “Package” in SFMC. Below are the steps to create the package and retrieve the credentials.
Creating a new Package and retrieving the API credentials
Step 1: Log in to your Salesforce Marketing Cloud account. In the upper-right corner, hover over your profile to open the dropdown menu, then click "Setup".
Step 2: On the Setup page, in the left-hand menu under Apps, click "Installed Packages".
Step 3: Click "New" in the upper-right corner to create a package. Enter a Name and (optional) Description. We recommend “Brij – SFMC Automation” for the package name.
Step 4: After the package is created, click "Add Component" at the bottom center and select API Integration. When prompted for the Integration Type, choose "Server-to-Server", then click "Next".
Step 5: Configure the Server-to-Server properties for the package by copying the settings below. These settings ensure Brij can send the correct data to your Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Step 6: After you click "Next", a Client Secret will be generated. Save it in a secure location -- you’ll use it to enable the Brij <> SFMC integration. Then click "Finish".
Step 7: Your API integration details will now be displayed. For the Brij integration, you’ll need the Authentication Base URI, REST Base URI, Client ID, and the Client Secret you saved in the previous step.
That's it!
