QR Code Printing 📰
General Recommendations:
✅ Clear and concise CTA
- Make it clear to the consumer what the benefit of scanning the QR code is to them
✅ Large QR Code
- Make the QR Code as large as you can so it jumps out to the consumer
✅ Minimize additional text around QR Code ✅
- If you have too much text surrounding the QR Code and telling the customer why they should scan, we find this decreases engagement
- Keep it short and simple!
Insert Vs. Packaging ↔️
Printing QR Code on Insert:
- More eyeballs
- Increased Scan Rate for CPG brands
- We highly encourage customers to include inserts in their Amazon packaging to increase engagement
Printing QR on Packaging:
- On front of packaging if possible
- Clear and concise CTA next to QR Code
- Not close to barcode because consumers will assume the QR Code is not for them
QR Code Size:
✅ No smaller than .5”x.5”
- We recommend no smaller than .75”x.75” to be safe
✅ Clear Contrast
- Make sure there is a clear contrast between the QR Code and the background it is printed on otherwise it will be hard for customers to scan
Image and Video Size:
- Web App 1:1 aspect ratio (square) and in reality the content will be trimmed to a ratio of about 4:5 for most devices (4 width x 5 height)
- Resolution:
- 1000x1000 for images
- 720p for videos
- File Size:
- Videos: 10 mb
- Digital Hub Background Image Guidelines Optimal Dimensions: Use a 720p image (720 x 1280 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 9:16 for a vertical orientation that looks great on modern mobile devices.
