Brij's Alerts email your team automatically when a key performance metric moves more than a set amount compared to the previous period.
Use Cases
- Catch problems early: Get notified the moment scans, registrations, or revenue fall off pace or see a major boost, instead of finding out weeks later during a QBR.
- Monitor performance without living in the dashboard: Set your thresholds once and let Brij flag anything that needs attention.
- Keep the team in the loop: Add every stakeholder who should see the same alerts, so nobody's tracking performance in a vacuum.

Where to Find Alerts
In the lefthand navigation menu, go to Settings > Alerts.
Step 1: Add Recipients
Add the email addresses of everyone who should receive alerts for this account. You can add up to 10 recipients per brand.
Note: every recipient on the list receives the same alerts.
Step 2: Choose Which Metrics to Monitor
Select any combination of the metrics below to monitor. Hovering over the (i) icon next to each metric in the dashboard shows a short description, so your team knows what they're signing up for.
| Metric | What It Measures |
|---|---|
| Unique Scans | Number of unique QR code scans (or clicks, if you're using the corresponding short link) |
| Registrations/Sign-ups | Number of product registrations and rebate submissions started. Rebate initiations are included here, not just registrations. |
| All Engagements | Total shopper interactions across your experiences — scans, form fills, module clicks, reviews, and more — not counting the profile creation event itself. |
| Total Revenue | All revenue attributed to your Brij experiences in the selected period. |
| Direct Revenue | The portion of Total Revenue tied directly to a shopper's registration or rebate journey. |
| Annual Rev. Run Rate | Total Revenue projected out to a full year, so short periods can be compared on equal footing. |
| Total Value Captured | Estimated lifetime value added by the shoppers Brij captured, based on the LTV and LTV lift configured on your account's metric settings. Only available once those values have been set up. |
| Annual Revenue per Profile | Annualized revenue generated per shopper profile Brij creates. |
| Profiles Created | Number of new shopper profiles Brij created in the period. |
| Website Visits | Number of visits to your Brij-powered landing pages and experiences. |
Step 3: Set Your Check Frequency and Thresholds
For each metric you select, choose how often Brij should check it: weekly, monthly, or yearly. Then set a lower threshold, an upper threshold, or both:
- Lower threshold: triggers an alert if the metric drops by this percentage or more compared to the previous period.
- Upper threshold: triggers an alert if the metric rises by this percentage or more compared to the previous period.
For example, setting Unique Scans to a weekly check with a lower threshold of 5% and an upper threshold of 20% means Brij emails your recipients any time unique scans drop 5% or more, or increase 20% or more, versus the prior week.
How Thresholds Are Evaluated
- Thresholds are always based on percent change versus the previous period — never an absolute number.
- Every metric is measured account-wide, across all of your experiences combined.
- Thresholds are calculated at the end of the calendar period you select: Saturday for weekly alerts, the last day of the month for monthly alerts, or December 31 for yearly alerts.
- If there's no data from the previous period (for example, a metric yielding data for the first time), no alert fires.
FAQ
Can I set different alerts for different people on my team?
Not currently. Every recipient added to the alerts list receives the same set of alerts for the account.
Can I monitor a specific experience instead of my whole account?
Not yet. All ten metrics are measured account-wide, across every experience combined. Per-experience alerts are planned for a future release.
Why didn't I get an alert even though my numbers changed?
A few reasons this can happen: the change may not have crossed either threshold you set, there may not have been enough data in the previous period to calculate a percent change, or an alert for that metric and direction may have already been sent this period.
Can I use a fixed number instead of a percentage for my threshold?
No. Thresholds are always set as a percentage of change versus the previous period.
