Introduction:
This tutorial provides step-by-step instructions for hosting your Brij experiences under a subdomain of your existing website.
Instructions:
To host your Brij experiences under your own domain (e.g., “id.mywebsite.com”), please follow the steps below.
⚠️ WARNING: The following steps should be performed by someone with a strong understanding of DNS records to avoid disruptions to your website.
Choose a Subdomain
- Brij experiences must be hosted on a subdomain of your website’s domain. For example, if your website is mywesbite.com, your Brij experience URL’s can be hosted under “qr.mywebsite.com” or “registration.mywebsite.com”, etc.
Add a CNAME Record
-
Login to Your DNS Provider
- Access the account for your domain's DNS provider.
-
Create a New CNAME Record
- Navigate to the DNS management section.
Enter the Required Information
- Name/Host/Alias: Enter the desired subdomain (e.g., “id”).
- Value/Destination: Enter “custom-domains.brij.it.”
- TTL: Enter 3600 or another desired value.
Example:

custom-domains.brij.it. - TTL:

💡 NOTE: It may take up to 24 hours for the DNS records to update. If verification fails, please try again later.

- Input the subdomain and domain for which you added the CNAME record (e.g., “id.mywebsite.com”).
